AGRA DRONE SPRAYING

Using drones for spraying agriculture offers several benefits to farmers. Drones provide a cost-effective and efficient alternative to traditional methods of crop spraying, as they can cover large areas quickly and accurately. By utilizing drones, farmers can reduce the amount of resources, such as water and pesticides, that are used in the spraying process, leading to cost savings and environmental conservation. Additionally, drones can access hard-to-reach areas of farmland and operate in challenging terrain, improving the overall effectiveness of crop spraying. Overall, incorporating drones into agricultural spraying practices enhances productivity, sustainability, and precision in farming operations.

Available in a variety of sizes and various configurations, there’s a DJI Agras spray drone to fit almost any mission profile you can think up. Pastures, row crops, orchard, vineyards…even municipalities and golf courses can all find a use for these workhorse units.

Capable of liquid application and solid, granular spreading operations, the scope of what these units can achieve is limited only by your imagination…and when coupled with the data captured by the Mavic 3M, custom application and spot spraying missions are as easy as using your smartphone.

The Agras T40 features a coaxial twin-rotor design and can carry a spray load of 88 pounds and dry load of up to 110 pounds, making it the top choice for covering larger acreages.

The spraying system features a magnetic impeller pump which iso- lates chemicals from the motor, eliminating corrosion. A dual-atom- ized centrifugal sprinkler system ensures even droplet size and more efficient use of chemicals. Droplet size can increased or decreased right from the controller; there’s no need to change tips.

An active phased array radar, coupled with binocular vision sensors, provide the T40 with unparalleled 360° omnidirectional obstacle sensing. The result is an aircraft that is not only safer than previous models, but also easier to fly.

The T40 is capable of engaging in multiple mission profiles, ranging from surveying and mapping to spraying and spreading.

If you’re looking for an agricultural drone that can do it all, the Agras T40 is your first and best choice.

How long do the batteries last?

  • Many conditions can impact battery life per charge, with load being primary. With minimal load, 20 minutes or more is possible. With a full load, 12-15 minutes is the norm.

  • How long does it take for the batteries to charge?

    • If you use the recommended setup, you will be able to keep pace with the needs of your drone easily. Typically, charge times range between 8 – 9 minutes.

      • Recommended setup T10: 4 batteries, 1 charger and a 4,500 watt continuous generator, 30-amp, 250-volt twist lock plug

      • Recommended setup T30: 3 batteries, 1 charger and a 9,000 watt continuous generator, 50-amp, 240-volt four prong plug

      • Recommended setup T40: 3 or 4 batteries, 1 charger and as 12,000 wat continuous generator and a 50-amp, 240-volt four prong plug. NOTE: The D12000iE generator option from DJI guarantees you meet the requirements. It is also compatible with T30 batteries.

      • Failure to meet the wattage requirements above can result in damage to your chargers, batteries and/or generator. Wattages MUST be continuous and not start-up.

  • How many acres per hour can you spray?

    • Ultimately, it’s all about your efficiencies and payload/battery management. However, as a general guideline you can expect:

      • T10: 10 - 15 acres per hour (10 is the most common)

      • T30: 25 - 30 acres per hour

      • T40: 40 - 45 acres per hour

Dji 3m Multispectral

Effective aerial surveying needs to see the invisible. That's why Mavic 3 Multispectral has two forms of sight. It combines an RGB camera with a multispectral camera to scan and analyze crop growth with total clarity. Agricultural production management requires precision and data, and Mavic 3M delivers both.
